and low-timed, with one of the smoothest engines we've ever
flown. It is a fuel-injected 2001 180hp Cessna 172SP
SkyHawk, NAV I equipped, IFR capable with category I ILS
approach.
N796SP has recently been installed with a Boom Beam Xenon High-Intensity Discharge landing light system, the type used on Airbus 380’s. It is 500% brighter and longer range than stock bulbs, making night landings bright as day. More reliable, the Xenon HID lights have 5,000 hours life factory guaranteed, and will basically never burn out again. Feel free to keep the landing light on for the duration of your entire flight.
